May 22, 2009 Meg White marries guitarist Jackson Smith, son of Patti Smith and Fred "Sonic" Smith, in the backyard of her former husband (and White Stripes bandmate), Jack White, in Nashville. The ceremony is a double wedding, with the Raconteurs' Jack Lawrence marrying his photographer girlfriend Jo McCaughey.

October 5, 2008 After 17 years living as a couple, Ritchie Blackmore and Candice Night finally tie the knot. Blackmore is formerly of the bands Deep Purple and Rainbow. Night and Blackmore were brought together through a shared love of Renaissance music and together form the band Blackmore's Night, which enjoys nominal success as a British traditional folk / Renaissance music project.

August 7, 2008 After dating for 10 years, Jewel and rodeo star Ty Murray marry in the Bahamas. They split up six years later.

June 30, 2008 Olivia Newton-John marries Amazon John Easterling, a TV producer and entrepreneur.

February 14, 2008 Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher marries Nicole Appleton of the girl group All Saints.

September 3, 2007 Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance marries Mindless Self Indulgence bassist Lyn-Z backstage at Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution festival.

May 18, 2007 Amy Winehouse marries Blake Fielder at a secret ceremony in Miami. Their tumultuous relationship inspired many of the songs on her seminal album Back To Black.

July 15, 2006 Sum 41 front man Deryck Whibley ties the knot with Avril Lavigne in Montecito, California. The marriage will last just over three years.

January 7, 2006 Pink marries the motocross rider Carey Hart in Costa Rica.

December 1, 2005 At age 55, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top gets married for the first time, taking longtime girlfriend Gilligan Stillwater as his bride.

July 11, 2005 Robin Thicke ties the knot with high-school sweetheart and Precious star Paula Patton. Their first son is born Julian Fuego Thicke on April 6, 2010, just shy of their fifth wedding anniversary.

May 10, 2005 British soul and R&B singer Seal marries celebrity model Heidi Klum. The couple had been dating since 2004, when Klum gave birth to her daughter Leni, sired by her previous boyfriend; Seal was present at the birth and Klum announced that Seal would adopt Leni as her father. The couple have three biological children together before their divorce in 2012.

January 9, 2005 Mötley Crüe lead singer Vince Neil marries Lia Gerardini at a ceremony in Las Vegas officiated by MC Hammer, who shared a house with Neil on the reality show The Surreal Life. Among the guests are his bandmates Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx, and basketball star Dennis Rodman. It's Neil's fourth marriage.

October 6, 2004 Britney Spears and Kevin Federline file paperwork making their surprise wedding from a few weeks earlier legal. Spears gets a prenuptial agreement, which comes in handy when they divorce in 2007.

December 7, 2003 Mary J. Blige marries her manager, Martin "Kendu" Isaacs. She files for divorce in 2016.

December 6, 2003 Elvis Costello marries jazz singer Diana Krall at Elton John's London estate.

May 10, 2003 Matthew West marries his long term girlfriend, Emily.

April 25, 2003 Liv Tyler, whose stepfather is Todd Rundgren and biological is Steven Tyler, marries Spacehog frontman Royston Langdon at a ceremony in New York attended by celebrity guests that include David Bowie and Kate Hudson. The couple split in 2008.

March 15, 2003 Brad Paisley marries actress Kimberly Williams at Pepperdine University's Stauffer Chapel. They first met when the singer cast her as his female lead in his music video for "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin' Song)."

June 17, 2002 U2 guitarist The Edge gets married for the second time, this time to Morleigh Steinberg, the belly dancer on their 1992-1993 Zoo TV tour.

June 6, 2002 Natalie Appleton (of All Saints) marries Liam Howlett (of The Prodigy) in France. They met two years earlier at England's V Festival.

March 23, 2002 In Houston, Texas, Dusty Hill of ZZ Top marries Charleen McCrory. He looks sharp, but we can't tell if there's a black tie under that beard.

September 29, 2001 With her song "I'm Real" at #1 in America, Jennifer Lopez marries the dancer Cris Judd. The couple get divorced in June 2002.

September 29, 2001 Lorrie Morgan marries her fifth husband, fellow country singer Sammy Kershaw. They divorce in 2007.

July 7, 2001 Sharon becomes the first Corr to wed when she marries Gavin Bonnar, a Belfast barrister. They will have two children, Cathal Robert Gerard and Flori Jean Elizabeth.

June 16, 2001 Cardigans singer Nina Persson marries songwriter/author Nathan Larson.

June 3, 2001 Tom Petty marries Dana York in a ceremony officiated by Little Richard. It's his second marriage, and his last - he and Dana are still married when he dies in 2017.

January 20, 2001 With the debut Lifehouse album climbing the charts, lead singer Jason Wade marries his longtime girlfriend, Braeden.

March 10, 2000 Vince Gill and Amy Grant get married in Nashville in front of about 450 guests. Included in the wedding party are their children from previous marriages: Gill's daughter Jenny, 17, and Grant's children Matthew, 12, Millie, 10, and Sarah, 7.

October 16, 1999 Sarah Lee Guthrie, daughter of folk singer Arlo Guthrie, marries Johnny Irion. They begin performing together as an acoustic duo the following year.
