July 11, 1976 Frank Sinatra marries for the fourth time, this time to Barbara Marx, former wife of the Marx Brothers' Zeppo Marx.

July 4, 1976 Paul Revere is married during the intermission of his concert at King's Island Amusement Park in Cincinnati on America's bicentennial.

March 20, 1976 Alice Cooper gets married for the first (and only) time. His bride is Sheryl Goddard, a 19-year-old dance instructor who performed on his Welcome To My Nightmare tour.

August 7, 1974 J. Geils Band frontman Peter Wolf marries movie star Faye Dunaway in a Beverly Hills courtroom. The couple divorce in 1979.

July 4, 1974 Barry White marries Glodean James of Love Unlimited.

June 5, 1974 Sly Stone of Sly and the Family Stone marries Kathy Silva, the mother of his 11-month-old son, on stage before the band's sold-out show at Madison Square Garden. Bishop Stewart, Sly's uncle, officiates before the crowd of 19,000; Silva files for divorce five months later.

December 15, 1973 Jermaine Jackson of The Jackson 5 marries the boss' daughter, Hazel Gordy, whose dad is Motown founder Berry Gordy. The couple divorce in the late '80s.

July 7, 1971 Bjorn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Faltskog of ABBA are married in Verum, Sweden (it lasts eight years).

May 12, 1971 Mick Jagger marries his first wife, Bianca Perez-Mora, who is four months pregnant with their daughter, Jade, in St. Tropez, France. The couple divorce in 1978.

January 20, 1971 Diana Ross marries Bob Silberstein (Robert Ellis Silberstein) at a ceremony in Las Vegas. It's the first marriage for Ross, who dated Motown chief Berry Gordy for years. One of the first high-profile interracial couples, they get divorced in 1976 after having three children together, including Tracee Ellis Ross, star of the TV series Black-ish.

October 31, 1970 Michelle Phillips, of The Mamas & The Papas, marries actor Dennis Hopper; the marriage is annulled seven days later.

September 14, 1970 Stevie Wonder marries his first wife, the Motown demo singer and songwriter Syreeta Wright (their collaborations include Stevie's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours" and The Spinners' "It's A Shame"). They divorce in 1972.

August 4, 1970 Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson marries his second wife, Barbara Charren, in Los Angeles. They divorce four years later.

May 11, 1970 Sammy Davis, Jr., who was previously wed to actresses Loray White and May Britt, gets married for the third and final time to another actress: Altovise Gore. Jesse Jackson presides over the ceremony.

March 19, 1970 David Bowie marries his first wife, Angela, who contrary to rumor, was not the subject of The Rolling Stones' song "Angie."

December 17, 1969 Tiny Tim marries Miss Vicki Budinger on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. The program receives the second largest ratings of any show up to that time.

September 17, 1969 Tiny Tim announces his forthcoming marriage to "Miss Vicki" Budinger, which would break records for TV viewership when the ceremony is broadcast on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show. The two are separated three years later and divorce in 1977.

July 26, 1969 The 5th Dimension's two lead singers, Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. are married. The duo will score their own hit in 1977 with "You Don't Have To Be A Star (To Be In My Show)."

March 25, 1969 Roy Orbison marries his second wife, Barbara, in Nashville.

February 18, 1969 The Bee Gees' Maurice Gibb, 19, marries the 20-year-old singing sensation Lulu in Buckinghamshire, England. They separate in 1973.

November 9, 1968 Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant marries his first wife, Maureen, in London. The couple holds the wedding reception at the local club "The Roundhouse," where the group plays its first London gig.

November 5, 1968 On his 21st birthday, Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits marries Mireille Strasser at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in London.

July 12, 1968 Micky Dolenz of The Monkees marries the model Samantha Juste, who is the "disc girl" on the BBC show Top Of The Pops. Dolenz, who met her on the show, wrote some of The Monkees song "Randy Scouse Git" about her. They divorce in 1975.

May 20, 1968 Pete Townshend of The Who marries Karen Astley (daughter of composer Ted Astley), whom he met at Ealing Art College in London. The couple have three children before separating in the '90s. They divorce in 2009.

April 14, 1968 Producer Phil Spector marries Ronnie Bennett of The Ronettes. They divorce in 1974, with Ronnie later alleging abuse.

March 1, 1968 Johnny Cash marries June Carter of the gospel stars The Carter Family a week after proposing to her on stage at a show in London, Ontario. Their marriage holds up until her death in May 2003, with Johnny passing away four months later.

June 23, 1967 John Entwistle of The Who marries his first wife, childhood sweetheart Alison Wise.

May 1, 1967 Elvis Presley and Priscilla Beaulieu are married in a private ceremony at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. They met seven years earlier when Priscilla was 14, but she claims they didn't consummate their relationship until this wedding night.

March 17, 1966 Keith Moon of The Who marries his pregnant girlfriend, Kim Kerrigan, in secrecy.

October 15, 1965 Mike Love of The Beach Boys marries his second wife, Suzanne Celeste Belcher, in Las Vegas.
