February 12, 2016 Ween play the first of three reunion shows in Broomfield, Colorado. Originally, only two shows are scheduled, (for February 12 and 13), but the demand for tickets is so high during the pre-sale period that a third show is added on February 14. This marks the official return of Ween after breaking up nearly four years before.

January 5, 2016 Guns N' Roses confirm that Slash and Duff McKagan, who have not performed with the band since 1993, will join them for their headline set at Coachella. They later announce a full tour with Slash and McKagan.

November 16, 2015 Ween announce that they will come together to play two shows in early 2016. This is the first time the band will be together since their breakup in 2012.

June 22, 2015 On the reality dating show The Bachelorette, Jared and Kaitlyn visit Christchurch Cathedral in Dublin, where they are serenaded by Noel Hogan and Dolores O'Riordan of The Cranberries, who perform "Linger." The couple dance and make out as O'Riordan sings: Were you lying all the time? Was it just a game to you?More

September 16, 2014 At a pop-up shop in New York City that re-creates the Central Perk coffee shop from the TV show Friends, Danny Wilde and Phil Solem of The Rembrandts reunite to perform the show's theme song. The event marks the 20th anniversary of the show's first episode.

June 5, 2013 Rob Halford announces that Judas Priest will be re-forming after their retirement two years earlier.

January 12, 2013 Black Sabbath, complete with their newly reunited original frontman Ozzy Osbourne, announce the upcoming release of the album 13, the first Black Sabbath album in 18 years (since 1995's Forbidden).

August 11, 2012 Geto Boys reunite at the 12th annual Gathering Of The Juggalos.

April 24, 2012 The Beach Boys begin their 50th anniversary tour, which reunites Brian Wilson with fellow founders Mike Love and Al Jardine, along with longtime members Bruce Johnston and David Marks.

December 10, 2011 At the last of four 30th anniversary concerts at The Filmore in San Francisco, Metallica are joined on stage by two original members: bass player Ron McGovney and guitarist Dave Mustaine.More

November 11, 2011 Black Sabbath announce they will reunite with their original lineup for a new album and tour in 2012. The press conference is hosted by Henry Rollins.

October 18, 2011 The Stone Roses announce they are to reunite after a 15-year split. The band confirms three gigs at Heaton Park in Manchester on June 29th, 30th and July 1st 2012, and also claim a world tour and new album is in the works.

June 11, 2011 Bonnaroo celebrates its 10th anniversary by hosting a performance of Dr. John's Desitively Bonnaroo, the 1974 album that inspired the festival's name. The performance reunites the New Orleans R&B veteran with the album's producer, Allen Toussaint, and legendary backing band The Meters. More

May 12, 2011 The Monkees, minus Mike Nesmith, embark on a 45th Anniversary Tour with a date at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. It's the group's fourth and final reunion tour, as Davy Jones dies in 2012.

May 12, 2011 David Gilmour and Nick Mason join their former Pink Floyd bandmate Roger Waters at the London 02 Arena performance of Waters' The Wall tour, joining in on "Comfortably Numb" and "Outside The Wall." It's the first time they've played together since Live 8 in 2005.

May 10, 2011 The Cars, disbanded since 1988, release their album Move Like This and kick off a tour with a concert at the Showbox in Seattle. It doesn't go well: tensions soon resurface, and the tour is cut short after less than a month. They don't play together again until their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2018.

March 30, 2011 Buffalo Springfield, which split in 1968, announce a reunion tour with original members Neil Young, Stephen Stills and Richie Furay. The tour lasts seven shows, ending with a performance at Bonnaroo. Another 30 dates are planned, but Young calls it off.

October 23, 2010 Buffalo Springfield reunite after a 43-year stage absence for Neil Young's annual Bridge School benefit concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. Other acts on the roster include Jackson Browne, Elton John, Lucinda Williams, Kris Kristofferson (subbing for an ailing Merle Haggard), and Bridge veterans Pearl Jam.

July 10, 2010 Roger Waters makes a surprise appearance at a benefit concert in Oxfordshire, England when he joins his onetime Pink Floyd bandmate David Gilmour for a four-song set, marking the first time since Live 8 in 2005 that they have shared the stage. Gilmour reciprocates by joining Waters for a performance of The Wall on May 12, 2011 in London.

April 16, 2010 At the Showbox in Seattle, Washington, Soundgarden play their first show in 13 years.

January 1, 2010 Chris Cornell tweets that Soundgarden, split since 1997, are getting back together.

November 2, 2007 In Glasgow, a reunited Verve play their first show since 1998. The band part ways again in 2009.

September 27, 2007 In Charlotte, Van Halen kick off their North American tour, bringing David Lee Roth back into the fold for the first time since 1985. Their new bass player is Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie's 16-year-old son.

March 19, 2005 At the 46664 festival in George, South Africa honoring Nelson Mandella, Queen perform with Paul Rodgers on vocals. Billed as "Queen + Paul Rodgers," they begin a tour nine days later, marking a return to action for the band, which has played sporadically with various guest vocalists since the death of Freddie Mercury in 1991, but has not toured.

November 13, 2004 After several years of feuding, the rap group A Tribe Called Quest get back together for a reunion show at the Rock the Bells festival. It's also the night when their friend and fellow rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard from the Wu-Tang Clan dies. A Tribe Called Quest open their show with a tribute to ODB and perform some of Wu Tang's songs to start the set.

September 18, 2004 The Fugees reunite for a concert hosted by the comedian Dave Chappelle on a corner in Brooklyn. Other performers at the show, which is later released as the film Dave Chappelle's Block Party, include Kanye West, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and The Roots.

September 14, 2004 Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith of Tears for Fears reunite with the album Everybody Loves A Happy Ending. Their collaboration ended on a sour note in 1989 after the release of their third album, The Seeds Of Love.

June 10, 2003 Following a four-year hiatus, Fountains of Wayne reunite in order to release Welcome Interstate Managers. The album spawns the hit single "Stacy's Mom."
